Nissi Cai is a PhD student at The Cairnmillar Institute. She recently completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology at The University of Melbourne in 2025, with her research exploring emotion and mood regulation.
Nissi’s PhD is aligned with the Expanding the Body Perception Box Project, funded by the Tiny Blue Dot Foundation. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating an accessible, evidence-based virtual reality embodiment intervention for adolescents with body image disturbance.
